This lad needs no introduction, it's HoS stalwart Guy Jarrett! The big lad has been exhibiting with us for 5 years now where his work involves a strong fascination with American vernacular culture and the people who inhabit it. His particular obsession and skill lies within hand painted signs –where he finds beauty in their imperfection – and character studies, which he applies to all manner of surfaces such as bullets and found wood. If you wanna Catch Guy in the flesh (and beard) he'll be looking after the HoS stand at this year's On Paper Festival in Norwich...
HoS / What do you do with yourself all day?
GJ / I am a barber during the day and try to mix drawing, painting and skateboarding in the evenings and my days off.
HoS / What has been your strangest job/commission?
GJ / I met a man from Germany at a Hero of Switzerland exhibition. He emailed me a few days after wanting to buy ALL my drawings I have ever done. What has he done with them all?!

GJ / Do you do ladies hair …….. No!
