She has since left the shitty job in which she met Dan, and now works in Interior Design, designing furniture and selling it to rich people. She also lives the life of a rock and roll star touring the country in punk ukulele band The pUKEs supporting the likes of Bad Manners and the Buzzcocks. Esme is in love with British eccentricities (The Top Tips feature stemmed from hoarded boxes of magazine cuttings in her loft), being a bit silly, typography and the contrast of a crude drawing style alongside fine illustration; the latter unwittingly drummed into her from her Fine Art student days. As well as being a founder member of the Hero of Switzerland shows she delights in, Esme has also contributed work to various blogs/zines, painted 6ft robots on the side of flats for private commissions and has had work inked onto the skin of overenthusiastic fans.
