EXHIBITIONS //

Great combo //

Our first show post Covid and it was a cracker. Based on combining one thing with another to make something greater, we had artist friends old and new join us for a much missed exhibition feeling.

Street Food //

Taking over the unique Walthamstow Village Window Gallery for a whole month – that included Walthamstow’s annual art trail – we brought all things food related to the streets of E17. From chicken drum stick piñatas, to chicken shop prints and cans something we’re not quite sure of.

ALL YOU CAN EAT //

Carnaby Chaos //

When we used to draw silly pictures in a pub back in 2008 we never would have though that one day we’d have an exhibition on London’s world famous Carnaby Street, but it happened. And I bet they never thought there’d be a giant butt plug piñata to celebrate ‘our opening,’ but there was!

FUN AND GAMES //

Modern classics //

Hero twists on old classics and fresh takes on modern art, that even included our very own gift shop – but without the shitty rubbers.

RAD SCIENCE II //

Social Experiment II //

Lik+Neon visited our show and loved our Rad Science so much, they wanted to host a sequel. So they did, and it was great (again).

Social Experiment //

Science for most of us as kids was the opportunity to set something on fire and watch it either burn a funny and bright colour or disappointingly fizzle away. Thankfully this show was the former and we didn’t lose our gallery deposit.

TRAVEL //

Bristol Bound //

We were asked by the lovely Papersmiths – then Something Good, before their national takeover as stationer of choice – to leave ‘that there London’ and put on a show in their Bristol HQ. Travel was an obvious exhibition theme choice and we just ran with it… Well, we got the train.

TO YOUR HEALTH //

Ill Communication //

Purveyors of all things analogue, Lomography wanted a screen printed, canvas painted, paper pencilled show in their exhibition space in the heart of Shoreditch. To You Health? Yeah, we don’t know either, but it worked.

HEROES AND
VILLAINS //

The ‘ditch //

Our first ever group show after no one really turned up to our show. Honestly. We figured ‘if we want me people to come, we should ask more people to exhibit with us.’ and this approach set us up for what we were to become, an illustration collective (we’ve never liked that phrase but we’ve never found a better alternative).

The Old Police Station //

CRIME AND PUNISHMENT //

Arrested Development //

Who wouldn’t want to have an exhibition in an old police station, just so you can stick your work on cells walls, draw dead body outlines everywhere and have mug shots in old interview rooms? We sure did, and we threw the crime theme for good measure for an added layer.

BAD TASTE //

Kunt and our gang //

Our first ever show, which we labelled ‘we’ll just put on a party for our friends so they don’t think we’re showing off too much.’ The only bar in Peckham (at the time) that stayed open after 11pm was the perfect venue for our then brand of controversial illustration. Bad Taste just worked, and gave us a taste for more.
